During an NCAA game, Hannah Hidalgo decided scoring wasn’t enough. She also made sure to snatch every ball that came anywhere near her. In just 28 minutes, she had half the opposing team wondering if they even had hands.
Her performance ended up looking more like an episode of “Storage Hunters” than a basketball game.
Hidalgo shatters the steals record while turning the court into her own personal confiscation zone
The Notre Dame guard put together an unreal night: 44 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists and those unbelievable 16 steals that made history by breaking the long-standing record of 14, untouched since 2008.
At only 20 years old and 5’6″, Hidalgo moved as if she had built-in radar, jumping every Akron pass and leaving the crowd laughing and cheering. Notre Dame won 85–58, though the real highlight was watching a single player act as an entire defense.
