Sunday’s game wrapped up with more heat than anyone expected after Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase spit straight at Jalen Ramsey. The NFL didn’t waste time responding, and the punishment came fast… and pricey.

NFL Hits Chase With Suspension After Spitting at Jalen Ramsey During the Divisional Matchup

According to the official report, Chase violated Rule 12, Section 3, Article 1, which bans any act considered unsportsmanlike. The move, clearly caught on the broadcast, will cost him one game and a hefty chunk of cash.

Besides the suspension, the receiver will miss out on his weekly salary of $448,333, along with a $58,823 bonus that also disappears. All because of a “shot” that turned out far more expensive than he ever expected.

What do you think? Was the suspension fair, or did the NFL overreact to a heated moment?
